Customer Critiques

Reviewed by Darren (age 10):
I appreciate the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and this book, Cabin Fever, I believed was the most funny. I don't want to spoil it, but there are rather funny jokes in this book. Greg gets trapped in the home in the course of a snow storm and is accused of a crime---which he sort of did. If I were to give this book a rating, 10 becoming the top, and 1 getting the least perfect, I'd give it a 9.75.

Greg is back and running from the law. When Greg and Rowley scheme up a plan to make some cash for Christmas, their notion goes awry as usual, and school property is damaged. When a blizzard hits, Greg is stuck inside with his family members but that's far better than getting hauled off to jail, correct?
I enjoyed this book. Yes, some elements demand the reader to picture a tiny (like the family members not noticing the neighbors having electricity), but what children's book does not? I am a librarian at an elementary school, and I identified the jokes about education hilarious. The children were finding hurt on the playground gear, so they removed every single piece of equipment. When a kid got stuck, the teachers weren't allowed to touch a kid, so the parents had to come. They removed sugar drinks, so children began selling them behind the school. It was also enjoyable to see Manny develop up a little and come to be alot more of player in the storyline.
Fans of the series will delight in this funny addition.
